At
Calvary Church, even the tiniest baby is loved and cared for. In our Nursery
Ministry, we believe that children learn about God from birth, and we
teach this through music, stories, and the love of caring workers.
The nursery is staffed by two full-time employees and volunteers who rotate
weekly. Because we want you to know that your child is well cared for, we
have a set check-in procedure. Parents sign their child in and give the
workers any special information about the child. At check-in, parents are
given a pager where the nursery ministry staff can contact them if necessary.
Only the person with the pager can retrieve the child.
What to Pack
We have a few suggestions about what to pack in your diaper bag when
you bring your child to the nursery. Each non-disposable item needs to
be labeled with your child’s name.
• four to six diapers
• bottles-enough for baby's stay
• bib and washcloth
• complete change of clothes
When you leave your child at the nursery, you can attend the worship service,
assured that they are being watched over by loving, caring servants of
the Lord.
